Thieving Skills Tables

          In BG1/ToSC, only the first 4 columns of Thieving skills are taken into account (Stealth, Find/Disarm Traps, Open Locks, Pick Pockets). In BG2/ToB, all 8 columns are used: Rangers still use Stealth, but Thieves and Monks use Hide in Shadows and Move Silently.

          Add together the scores for each skill's Base amount, the Racial Modifiers, and the Dexterity Modifiers. This gives the starting skill amounts for a Level 1 Thief of any given race and DEX. Next, add in the Thieving points earned at each level: This varies by whether you're playing BG1 or BG2, whether or not you're Dual-classed, and what kit (if any) the Thief has.
