Original BG1 GUI
Prefer BG1's stone looks to the BG2 interface style? Think Tutu is lacking that last bit of BG1 authenticity? Now you can replace the interface to give the game its original BG1 appearance while still gaining the benefits of Tutu's higher resolutions and other enhancements!
This mod will work at 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768. Screenshots are available here.
Finch is a neutral good, gnome cleric of Deneir. Finch comes with a bookbag, perfect for keeping those precious scrolls and volumes safe, and she wears glasses that allow her a burst of inspiration in identifying items. Also, she doesn't take the glasses off her head, because then she wouldn't be able to see, and that would be very bad for a would-be hero librarian.
There is one NPC-related quest, because people like quests.
There is one custom portrait and a new soundset of dubious entertainment value. Some soundset lines change due to game events. Over 70 voiced lines!
Finch includes 2-4 banters with each of the Bioware NPCs, banter content with custom Tutu NPCs Indira and Mur'Neth, over five dozen interjections, and some PC-initialized talks! Finch is currently available with French and Spanish translations.
Finch Bloomwhiffler is quick to enthuse about stories she has read, libraries she has visited and tomes that she has had the honor to copy, but for all her knowledge, Finch has never truly experienced a life of adventure outside the pages of a book until you encounter her. (You can meet Finch during the Prologue at Candlekeep before you depart with Gorion, and she is joinable in Beregost.) Finch wavers between trepidation and enthusiasm at each new turn, keeping her quill ever at the ready.
She is a hero, and she is a librarian! Check her out!
The Lure of the Sirine's Call
Authors: Ghreyfain, jastey
The Lure of the Sirine's Call is a short quest that takes place in the coastal area south of Candlekeep involving the lighthouse, the treasure cavern, the sirines dwelling along the beach, and worgs. Also pirates. Everyone loves pirates.
At the end of it all you should have either a warm fuzzy feeling in your heart, or a bunch of loot. This quest will especially appeal to druids, though any class can play it without missing any content, dialogue, or equipment.
It has been translated into French, German, Spanish, Polish, Italian, and Russian, thanks to the volunteer efforts of a lot of people.
Indira is a half-elven, lawful good fighter/mage to be found in the Firewine Ruins. She has banters with almost all the BG1 NPCs, for a grand total of 20.
Other features include:
- Unique armour
- Original soundset
- Original portrait
- French Translation
- Three banters with the Mur'Neth NPC Mod
Xan's friendship path
This mod provides a friendship path for Xan NPC in Baldur's Gate I. It adds sixteen sequential Xan-initiated banters, and four additional Xan-initiated banters in Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7. The talks trigger if Xan is in party and the protagonist is either not eligible for a romance with Xan, or the romance is not active.
This mod is available for Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast, Tutu and BGT conversions, as well as Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. It has been translated into French, German, Italian and Russian, as well.
BG1 NPC Project ("BG1Banter")
Authors: Too numerous to list!
The BG1 NPC Project adds several hundred banters to the original BG1 cast of joinable NPCs, both between the party members and PC.
The project, in addition to the banter pack, includes new side quests, scenery dialogues and interjections, optional portrait pack for non-joinable NPCs, optional musical pack and six romances: with Ajantis, Branwen, Coran, Dynaheir, Shar-Teel and Xan.
BG2 Tweak Pack
Authors: CamDawg, Idobek
The BG2 Tweak Pack includes dozens of playability enhancements for BG1Tutu.
* Unlimited Ammo Stacks
* Unlimited Jewelry and Gem Stacks
* Unlimited Potion Stacks
* Unlimited Scroll Stacks
And many more...
Grey Clan, Episode I (Tutu optional, supported)
No thugs here: only armed and well-trained bandits.
Are the Zhentarim behind it?
Are you strong enough to stop them and save the dwellers of the Sword Coast? An adventure mod for BG1 or Tutu that adds about 2 hours of gameplay.
Mur'Neth is a Ghaunadan, a member of a race of ooze-like shapechangers who venerate the evil deity Ghaunadaur. Sent to investigate the troubles of the Nashkel Mines, he proves a unique ally. In game terms, he is a Chaotic Evil character with his own kit based on the Thief class.
The mod started out as a One-Day NPC but will be expanded with more banters, interjections and possibly quests.
Coran's friendship pack
This mod expands Coran's Friendship talk sequence, adding up to eighteen (18) new banters with the protagonist (and one potential comment by Garrick) for a player character who is not in an active romance with him.
Ajantis BG1 Expansion
The Ajantis BG1 Expansion Modification is a mod for "vanilla" BG1 (with or without the add-on Tales of the Sword Coast), BG1Tutu v4, EasyTutu, and BGT. It is currently only available in English.
For original BG1 (with or without TotSC), the mod adds a friendship track and the BG1 NPC project romance for Ajantis. The original BG1 NPC project romance (also by jastey) was slightly altered to adjust to the restrictions of the BG1 engine, although overall the content stayed the same. For Tutu and BGT, the mod adds a friendship track for Ajantis. Contentwise, the friendship mod is meant as an addition to the BG1 NPC project, but technically it can be installed and played without the BG1 NPC project.
The second part of the mod gives a choice of custom portraits for Ajantis. The portraits can be installed independent to the friendship/romance part of the mod.
Baldur's Gate Mini Quests & Encounters
BGQE is a mini-mod for all BG1 games: "vanilla" BG1 (with or without the add-on Tales of the Sword Coast), BG1Tutu v4, EasyTutu, and BGT. It adds several small quests and encounters to the game, including the "slime quest", jastey's former stand alone BG1 mini quest mod. Before installing BGQE, any stand alone version of the Slime Quest mod has to be deinstalled.
The duration of the game time added by this mod is approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on playing style.
If you only wish to see the end screen of the game, you can install this.
